You want to talk true fan? I have a guy, Steve, on my team at work who is a real, true blue fan of the Detroit Lions. He has been a fan for years. He displayed his mini-helmet with pride all during the joy of their 0-16 season...

That is the exact opposite of 1/2 to 3/4 of the "fans" I've met through my life... Two or three bad seasons, or hell 2 or 3 bad games, and they're ready to throw in the towel. Nope, not Steve... give him his Lions and Pistons and he's good to go.

 

And at least 22 of them would like to be in his shoes even if the Vikings weren't in the playoffs.

RIP Dallas and Chargers. Dallas didnt even show up today and the Chargers field goal kicker choked big time not once but three times!

 

My Cowboy are out. Your Chargers are out. Kinda sounds like were in the same camp now. It was fun while it lasted. Looking forward to what happens next. It's always more fun when it's unpredictable no matter who your rooting for. My inlaws are from Indie do I really have to root for the Colts?

Jesus, I left to go to work at 3:25pm yesterday and it was 17-3. Not frigin 15 minutes later, it was 34-3 when I got to work!! WTF??

Wanna see how the game has changed, look back to when football was less of a "business" and more of a will to survive...outdoor stadiums... grass/mud fields...folks dressed up like eskimos...bench clearing brawls...some of the best rivalries; Oakland/Kansas City, Giants/Baltimore Colts, Redskins/Dallas, etc. I still enjoy watching the game, but miss the simplicity of the 60's/early seventies, when the single bar face masked Q.B. was fair game, and players were featured on the inside of Coke Cola bottle caps...time for a nap...

 

it's all about the $$$ now.
