A lot of the bars are made in the same factory and the only difference is the molded steps. My 5" bars I ordered off AutoAnything are nearly identical to the OEM bars except for the plastic step pad. I think Lund's are identical, except that the step pad says "LUND" on it.

They're all cheaper than OEM because Toyota factors in an installation markup. Please. Those things install anywhere between 20 and 30 minutes. I spent the most time searching for dropped sockets (I need a new set).

Cool facts. I was just curious because I bought some 5 inch lund nerf bars and was hoping he had them too because they look nice on the truck. :notsure:

They certainly do. I also like that they prevent door dings from idiots in Civics.

Don't drop your sockets on a sloped driveway.

    So I've heard.

I have 5" Lund polished nerfs and love them. Low enough to help with my handicap and wide enough to prevent door dings from car doors. Looked better than Toyota and were $200 cheaper. Rolled in the garage on a snow day and installed in 20 minutes. Had mine installed since early February.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. I was on the road. They are OEM. But as someone else said they are all probably made by the same company. I don't know but I doubt Toyota has a factory making nerf bars.

Went from a Subaru Impreza to my 2016 Tacoma about two months ago and I could not be happier with my decision!

Ahh lucky.. My tinting folks are not so skilled, but I'm trying to get them to fix it.. I think I found 20% 3M Color Stable to work .. Thanks for the info on the topper.. Looks good on Blazing Blue

Maybe use the old ones for shiny roof racks.
