yea i do stretch... i used to play college ball and on my senior year my arm started bugging a little bit after throwing (played outfield so threw alot).. so it might be from over lifting or from throwing. its been 2 years now and every now and then i get the numbness

It was a bitch and a half the three years...so i went muddin one day, i hit a nice pit, and i immediatly felt my back go....i was on soma450mg, and percoset 750, so i was feelin good untill i screwed my back up even more. between l4and l5 ruptured so they did a fusion....the surgery was hours and for the week after was complete hell!!!!!! its been 1month now and i dont have any pain at all. if you need any help let me know. good luck i know how you feel!! Get well, follow the doc's orders.....I understand drinking beer has no effect on the back, unless it interferes with the meds, but if they're good med what the heck :)

Damn Bro, Spinal injuries can be one complicated area when it comes to surg and healing the process. Be sure to get a second opinion even if the Doc says you wont need any surg. Better safe then sorry, plus; the body will recover faster in our earlier years than it can in the lader.... Take care, and good luck...

thanks man. im gonna get a sec. opinion just to be on the safe side, but that jackass chiropractor i saw the other day said" ah, it aint got nothing to do with your discs....its just a pinched nerve", and started trying to crack my neck without even getting xrays!!! i will not be seeing him or recommending him to anyone ever!! if they say it will heal itself with therapy......i'll like that alot better!!

I hear you bro.. Chiropractors can be the lesser of two evils. If he or she is shit hot, they can have you back to your normal lifestyle with the right therapy. Plus, you save all the money on consults, medications, and possible therapy. If they suck, they can cause further injury resulting in more of the above said treatments.

I was always tought that the most dangerous Medic is one who thinks they know it all. Need to be humble enough to consult your peers or allow for further opinion. I strongly believe that this refers to all levels of medicine.

Remember there is no difference between a Doctor that graduates at the top of his class, and one that just barely passes. They are all called Doctors:cool:
