Alright guys...Im lost and need some local opinions...what is the RIGHT way to lift my truck say about 2"? I'm looking at the following kits and I never realized there were so many options and different ways to lift...

This seems to be a respected kit and add the Total Chaos UCA's right? $1,889 just seems like a lot of loot...

Ive heard that boss kit is a decent kit.

If you are going to use it, save alittle longer and get a brand F I or K and theyll last you longer.

 

So that would be something like this right? The add a leaf? $650 TAC-SK-BIL1-2G. I would like to keep ride feel about the same...I think the stock feel is nice

 

@MICK has the Boss so he can speak to its feel and performance. @cmack has the OME kit.

It seems that some of the guys that start with these kits end up going with one if the more "expensive" kits later down the road.

If you truly plan to use the OR truck. I still say save the pennies and do it right the first time with King, ADS or Fox.

Unless you can be honest with yourself, and or know for a fact that you wont be using the truck more than you originally planned. Some guys are perfectly fine with the Billies or OME, etc.. some of us.. plans change and upgrades happen.

I'm on my 3rd Revision.. granted.. the first one was via the dealer when I bought it used.. POS ProComp lift kit (not my choice). Then went to OME.. and as much as I loved it and recommend that kit to people, I still wanted more, and finally ended up with Kings and Camburg. could have saved a lot of time and money...

 

Im thinking he'll do another GB around tax time next year. Then Ill get one

 

I love my OME, but I added a shit ton of steel and now I need something a bit more to accommodate the weight
