Since I'm fairly new to the area, does anyone have any recommended places to go drive at? Off road or even scenic drives on normal paved roads! I wanna get some cool pics of my taco

Pavement - go down 360 to the Colorado river and get pics down by the launch roads looking up at the bridge.

Decker lake by the boat launch with the power plant in the background.

Lady Bird lake by the old power plant.

    Mount Bonnell.

    Zilker Park.

    McKinney Falls.

Someone else is going to have to recommend off-pavement locations, because my asphalt avenger hasn't seen dirt yet.

Hey there @scleaf! Enjoying your visit to Austin?

I'd have to disagree with you about the Toyotas - there are plenty around here. They just may not be downtown at the moment, but in and around town there's Toyotas everywhere. Prii abound. Corollas all over the east side, Camrys on the west. Bunches in San Antonio too.

Go Air Force! You hanging out in Austin long?

Just a few days, but I will keep my eye out for those Tacoma's.

Looks to be a nice day. Will be seeing this nice town and getting some good food later. I don't remember the humidity. But I was in San Antonio, sure it was humid there toi. This reminds me of DC humidity.14746386630571736894137.jpg

Humidity will go away. Cold front is coming in, so it's about to get real nice out there!

Many people here in Texas buy my tailgate lock for the Tacoma, is there a theft issue downtown or just all around like in California?

I want to say theft issue is everywhere.

and if I can save my tailgate by buying a $4 clamp, adding $2 washer or a nicer lock like yours for a decent price, why not.

I like how it was looking like the sun was going burn off the clouds and then it turned dark in minutes and rained. This reminds me of when I was stationed in Dover Delaware out on the flight line.

Yes I started selling these this year after I filed a patent. Many TW members have bought these now many ebaiters and amazanians. They are listed in the Buy/Sell forum in 2nd gen.

These forums and people here really are cool and band together for the most part. Members have provided some great feedback which defined our improvements.
