My Sat just freed up, I might make the run up from Tucson. I still haven't met any of you guys and I could use some extra ears and expertise tracking down some front end noises. If I do and anyone still needs something brought up I'm sure I could do that.

So what semi-specialized tools might be needed?

Looks like I'm gonna bring along some stuff...

    Compressor
Impacts (Cordless and Air + Sockets)
    Vacuum Brake Bleeder
    Big Jack Stands
    Big Pry Bars
    Big Ratchets

    Any thoughts/requests?

If I can get some directions I will bring over my welder. It plugs into 110. I think that should cover all the work that has been mentioned.

You're bring the compressor and pnuematics?! I might use those all day... hahahah. I don't think I need anything special. What time will you be there?

Btw-I need to use someone's jack stands for the day. I unfortunately don't have any yet. It'd be much appreciated.

No I have a new spool in and the tank only has a small bit of use. It is not a giant tank but should last.

    @snowtank
How far away is the laundry room and what style plug is the dryer? Is there any structural welding going down?

Can I get an address for this? That is, if you guys don't mind a Tucson guy showing up lol. I can bring tools, Jack stands, compressor, etc. I'll help with truck projects and I'd like to get my front brake lines installed.

I think just @a.smo will be doing rear shock mounts. Not sure anyone else needed welding. I guess that would be considered structural?

Well I don't live far so if necessary I can go back and grab the big tank my roommate has. Thanks man.

Oh shit. I never thought of that...... I am doing quite a bit. Frame plating(not boxing), welding on upper and lower mounts and a few other things for the upper mounts and the bump stops.

Flakes will be sending out an address today. It should come via pm.

I've got a 50' cord for my Miller 175, just have to swap out the plug to match the dryer outlet. It's what I did for the 8 years prior to the current house.

    :annoyed:
