    How did you swap out cords? My roommate has a miller 180 I believe (tig that goes up to 180 amps). I'm looking to weld on some 3/16 plating to my frame.

    Dryer Outlets are usually 30 Amp.

    I rarely run more than 40% on output with my MIG, so it's never been an issue.

    @a.smo that welder will be fine. All they do is change the plug to fit the dryer plug because it's high amprage. And some garages don't have plugs for them. It'll weld what you need done without a problem.
