    Experimenting with frying oils.
The one on the left is canola oil.
    The right is peanut oil.
Neither was strained, both had the same amount of stuff fried in them. Peanut oil tasted better. The canola oil was more clear out of the bottle before use.

    None, but willing to learn.
Peanut oil has higher smoke point than canola I believe. May be the reason for discoloration. I fry turkeys in peanut and they always come out great.

That be Masonite, at least as what I've always heard it called. Donate it to Resource or Habitat if there's one near you? I've seen it used for oil paint 'canvas' as well, if you know any of those types.

Just trying to help someone out that might need it on here. I believe both of those places are east of 25... My truck does its best to avoid that.

For those of you with dual batteries- how much did your setup run you? I started looking into it and it's clearly a much larger process than I originally understood.

Is there any benefial reason, other than proving youre a complete douchebag to have huge smoke stacks in the bed of a diesel?

I'm planning on spending 6-8 weeks on the road early next year, so the primary reason would be to be able to run a heated blanket when we're in some of the colder parts of the country. I was also debating getting a fridge, and it would be nice to be able to charge electronics/ run lights, but the blanket is the only thing where I can't think of many good alternatives.

    Never enough
If you tow a trailer often it can help to reduce the black carbon build up which would accumulate on the side of the trailer with a normal exhaust outlet. The stacks direct the exhaust up and over the trailer. So I've been told. Not enough of a reason for me. Still looks super douchy. Never see any trucks with stacks towing anything anyway.

I would find out the specs on the blanket... And see what the electrical geniuses say you can get away with. Why don't you just get a good sleeping bag?

I have a single group 31 agm battery that fits in the stock location. And i just added a 100w solar panel. Fridge runs all the time and battery is always topped off.
