I can't beat yours pics Kevin but I did see a ton of hawks (mostly swainsons), a few osprey, eagles and kestrels this weekend. not sure what they were after - mice, pika, grasshoppers, mormon crickets - but they were everywhere. I'm guessing I saw close to a hundred birds this weekend.

I've always fed/watched birds, I guess I got it from my Mom. But lots of you guys are at a whole other level. ATM I am rigging up a way to attach my GoPro to one of my hummer feeders. If things go as planned I'll post up.

I've always loved birds. And when I'm out hiking, camping, exploring there's never a guarantee that I'll see big game animals but I always see birds. Just kinda started paying closer attention one day.
    for the feeder gopro!

I missed all the birds this spring/summer :( Not too much around now but seabirds and eagles...

I'm going to invest in a kayak next season and hopefully get lots of shots on the water.

    Lots...see build
Just did a trip to CO and got some high elevation North American birds! Haven't ID'd all of them but I did see some rosy-finches and white-tailed ptarmigan! The ptarmigan were while hiking Handies Peak, and when we got down and were snacking and recovering a moose just cruised on by the trailhead. Such a cool hike!

    I'll be working on photos...

Saw a great grey owl tonight, got a few pics but it was totally not cooperating with me...it was hunting and completely focussed on that. Think it might be a baby, seemed small
Also saw a bazillion ducks - migration has begun!

I think sometimes just seeing something makes it totally worth it. Tho, I'd be happier if the pictures came out :)

Theyre just so cool looking. Love the eyes. Didn't realize it was hunting at first but it sat there in that exact position for a couple of minutes and then pounced. Missed whatever it was going after....hopefully not my fault....
