What do you guys do when you are feeling burnt out on your truck?

Currently mine isn't running worth a darn and I'm stuck driving the Scoobaru.

    I fix it.

Sometimes if a vehicle gets a bit long in the tooth, but is solid, reliable and still desirable, I'll sell it.

If it's a bit longer in the tooth, solid and reliable, but maybe cosmetically challenged, not interesting to me anymore, etc., I typically give it away.

I know I've inspired you, but you're really too far for me to come and pick it up. :anonymous:

Well, I'd say if you have the ability to drive something else then just park the truck for awhile and see if you can't rekindle the flame, so to speak.

I've been throwing so much money at mine for maintenance, mods and some repairs and I'm getting burnt out myself. Every time I throw money at one thing, another thing pops up. Figure it might be time to slow it down for a bit.

Yeah man, I've noticed a few of your posts over last couple months and thought to myself, you've sure had to 'invest' a bit of dough into yours. But it is a really nice taco, and it has all the desirables(except the electric cooling fans:thumbsup:).
But in general, I couldn't imagine having to throw thousands of dollars into repair or maintenance on vehicles... Really makes me appreciate my old man and friends growing up that I learned from.

If you really really no longer need the truck put the for sale sign on it

Then it depends just what is wrong if it runs poor from cracked heads or a spun bearing .

I can see why you just want to walk away.

I tend to give my vehicles away when I lose interest .

Pretty sure my problem is an electrical sensor, still interesting to me, but it hasn't been driven a mile since the 37's have been on it since not running well.

FACT. I knew my rack was shot so I said lets just SAS this now, now she isn't running for me. :annoyed:
