    I'm hip.

Im sure it is a decent option for some people, just doesnt make a lot of sense for us in this thread. We are all constantly messing with our suspentions, seems unscrupulous to have some shop align the truck for free after u just got done putting $6-800 in suspension upgrades.

If I put that kind of coin into my truck, it will have a specific alignment for it immediately after the upgrades and gladly pay for it.

I'm guessing they just love it when you show up.

I couldn't do it. I have to feel like I played properly for the services i bought.

I hope you spend money for other things when there. I just can't see the shop and the tech giving you their best work.

well its not a super complicated process really, and it hardly costs any labor, I probably wouldn't feel so bad tbh

:notsure: I dont see what's so hard to understand about it. You pay them a bunch of $ then they align your vehicle as many times as you want for as long as you own that vehicle.

I probably brought my 5 lug in once a month because I knocked it out of alignment A LOT.

I didn't get it on my current truck because once I started messing with coilovers, lift and uniball uca's they couldn't get the alignment right. Nobody expects them to get it absolutely perfect but for the average person that just wants their car to drive straight on the way to work its great.

I had a life time alignment and probably had it aligned 10+ times in a years span. They don't care.

why do you guys get alignments so often? Ever since my lift, besides positive camber and whatnot, its driven straight as an arrow, are you just knocking it out while wheeling or something?

Agreed, why would you feel bad for using a service the business is offering and you payed a lot of money for?

Hows it even possible to just "knock it out of alignment" anyways? Only real way i can see is to actually bend/break something.

I get an alignment every time I do something with my suspension. Since I am slow at building, once I put on my spacer lift, I wanted an alignment. New tires, alignment, Coilovers, another alignment. when I put on my uniball UCAs, you bet ya, another alignment. Thats why the lifetime was the choice for me..

I payed them what they asked for. 140 for a one year alignment. Unlimited alignments. I dont see the problem? I wheel my shit, if it doesnt feel right, i have it aligned. I replace parts, i have it aligned. Store manager doesnt seem to mind since i ran these scenarios by him when purchasing the 1 year

    This

    And this

    Wheeling, replacing parts, etc

You hip? I'd say no, but that's an entirely different topic.

Did Adam create a new profile with a fake truck?

You're obviously mistaken, you must spend more money to get those alignment numbers, if not you're clearly a fool.

Please do. Am interested if there is a realistic number that these shops are using.

Still, I would wonder what kind of quality work would be done on your tenth visit.

I'm betting the shop won't be assigning their best guy to you. His time would be too valuable to waste on you. Especially when they know you are just going to be coming back for more "free" labor.

I had always heard about the 'lifetime alignment' from years ago from others that wheeled. I never looked into it, so I was kinda curious about it and actually decided to read about it from the actual company that offered it based on the link someone posted. I wasn't trying to start a pissing match about it or change people's opinions about it. I've no dog in the fight. But it sounds like the service is serving folks just fine. And for some guys it does seem like the perfect service. If you do a lot of wheeling and modding, it seems like it's something worthwhile to look into.
