I won't be done today by any means lol. So far I have the upper intake removed and almost all hoses and wiring. Today I hope to get all lower connections removed to prepare for removal of the motor. All that's left is bell housing bolts. I "might" pull the transmission and t case too. The old motor sprayed oil EVERYWHERE so I might pull it all so I can degrease everything.

 

Anyone local got an OEM roof rack they would wanna sell if it's a decent price I'd come meet you within resionable distance

Come on now I found a t4r that needs a tranny and I found the trans for all 700.00 get on the phone @2stroketrush

 

I'll be selling the one i just bought but with my mom's passing i haven't had the time to get to work and mess with it. I want to clean it in & out and diagnose why it doesn't crank. The battery shorted out against the alt. pulley so i'm hoping it's a starter relay or fuse. PO installed a new battery. Everything else works power wise just don't crank over. Fingers are crossed its not a serious electric issue. I may part it out if it is, the body & frame is so nice i would hate to part it tho. And its a manual trans, don't see too many 5 speed 3rd gens.

 

looked at 2 today and both were a bust, and one very annoying owner, had a motorcycle deal I was selling fall through as well so thats no good. Figured since I was over the bridge I would pop into crazy rays and check out there inventory, as usual all toyotas pretty well striped...

That black one is a limited so it should have a Elocker rear diff.

 

The po dropped off a extra key, window sticker & the manuals for the runner that I just bought.

 

@Mobtown Offroad if this runner has major electrical issues i'm gonna part it out. The truck has 240k miles but the motor ran good, i've known this truck for years. I would make you a good deal on the motor if you were interested.

 

I'm in for sure. I'd rather buy local.

 

I wasn't sure if you would be interested because of the mileage but it ran good. The po drove it everyday. Let me evaluate it then i'll figure out what my plans are.

 

Mileage doesn't concern me. My T4R will be a toy and really only move when I want to go wheeling.

 

As long as it's dry and doesn't knock or tick I'll be good with it.
