    So my birthday is next weekend. And my wife is the bomb town and just told my family I didn't want anything, just some cash so I can work on my truck :bananadance:

    So the question is... TC UCAs? Or Dakar leaf pack with extended billies? (Yes I know, with no weight in the back I'm going to pull a leaf so I don't sky jack my rear end)...

    yes, when i said Dakar leaf pack i meant plus all the hardware that goes with it. this would be my purchase....
    - dakar pack (remove top overload spring is what I've heard i need to remove to drop .5" lift) brake lines, CB drop, bushings, and u bolts.
    anything I'm missing?

    I just got the recall springs too. Stuck an AAL in them to get my rear back up to level out with the front. They wouldn't do it for me but that's what we have @Sandman614 for...

    wife and I passed through the R/D area on our way home last week. spent the evening in Durham, and the next morning in Raleigh, before heading north. Managed to survive the gas panic and had some fun at the same time.

    Stopped off at East Coast Gear Supply to visit a family friend who works there. they've built a great new addition onto what used to be a relatively small shop space.

    then stopped off in the Zebulon/Rolesville area to see an old Florida buddy who recently moved to the area with his family. He's a Tacoma enthusiast and his wife drives a nicely built 4-runner. great people.

    overall we had a great time in the area. While Charleston, SC is currently our 1st choice for the upcoming move, if I can find the right job in the R/D area, we truly enjoyed out short time there, and would happily live there as an alternative. thank you for the help/advice some of you gave a few weeks ago :cheers:

    That'll add lift won't it? I don't want any more than 2.5". My front is too low for anything more than that right now. That's why I'd be removing a leaf from the dakars. To drop it close to even with the front.
