    1/3"

I barely got out of my neighborhood this morning due to flooding. We've had several inches of rain over the last couple days.

My old neighborhood in Kempsville is practically under water. Luckily it's only the streets and not the homes. Saw many residents walking to and from the nearby farm fresh because they couldn't get out from the back of the neighborhood. Apparently it's all over the news.

Where in Kempsville? I used to love when it rained a lot there. My drive from Kempsville\Chesapeake to the Lynnhaven\International road area had some nice water!!!

I was fortunate my 4Runner had all the manuals. However, I'm eventually going to put a lift on it and get rid of the XREAS system. I could definitely use some advice on that. I've been reading as much as I can on removing the system though and when it's time, hopefully it's not too complicated.

My son has baseball in the morning on Saturday, unless the field is still flooded. I like beer and chicken, let me get back to you.

Does anyone here know how to do the Water Pump / Timing Belt replacement? My mechanic told me it's roughly $1200 for them to do it. The kit is only about $300 or so.

I'm guessing the MD dealer I bought it from last Friday isn't going to help.

JimboAnz - GO BILLS! Let's hope we get a win this week.

This tournament has a fresh and salt division and im doing the salt division. This is the 12th annual Tidewater Kayak Anglers Association tournament befitting "Heros on the Water" and "Project Healing Waters".

But in general, I fish both salt and fresh from a kayak. This was last week:

I can help. Did mine on a 1st gen but the idea is the same. It might take a whole day unless you can split it into to. Good time to get new belts too.
Hell yeah, nice! Kick ass kayak. I do fresh water but nothing serious. Usually rent a boat at Waller Mills park for some large mouth.

Ain't going to drink itself folks. Don't have to help clear the trees, just hang out if you'd like. Had some cancellations and now have too much beer and food. If you're free this weekend, swing on by and enjoy some beer, homemade hamburgers, and lemon pepper chicken skewers. If you have a chain saw or just a strong back, could use some help with clearing trees.

The one I had here... we had 12 trucks, did 2 full suspensions, one rear, and a bunch of misc. The neighbors and HOA went a little ballistic and sent "representatives" over. Basically I told them to pack sand! :)

I need a "highly recommended" windshield installer in the Tidewater area. Preferably a recommendation based on a Tacoma installation.

I had one installed a few years back following a chipped windshield and it looked like crap (no straight lines on the seal) from Day #1. Now it has started leaking. Water goes down the A-pillar. I can't stand it.

    Thanks for any replies.

From my experience, they are pretty much all the same. Dealerships just contract out to these guys... I would take it back to the same guy and have him fix it.

FYI, Safelight did mine, Did fine. When it was leaking down the A-Pillar, a lot of work was done by them to did-prove it was the windshield, and they were right. It ended up being the roof rack mount holes!!! 2 shots of caulk and all better!!!
