I don't have much here is the rear view from the cab. I would definitely jump on the group buy I saw that well after I got mine, they never discount there stuff. And I love this topper! Threw in one from camping when it was pouring out. Also what it looks like folded up. I also bought the case when its all folded up makes a world of difference.

Calculated my fuel economy for the last 1000 miles. Getting 17.0 which will hopefully get better when I get an intake and regear.

Great looking truck! Curious, how did the alignment work out after adding just the spacers up front? That's all I'm really interested in doing until my stock shocks need replacing, but with a 2.5" front spacer on my 4Runner I never got alignment quite right afterwards and was going to need UCA's. Drove different and wore tires funny as well. Wondering how the Tacoma compares.

    Thanks!

Did you take the rust off before painting? Applied primer before painting? I'm thinking of doing this right myself.

Alignment is good so far in terms of tire wear. I do get bump steer which I never did before and it rides stuffer up front. I honestly don't think the tire shop that did the alignment had a clue how to align a lifted IFS truck. I will be bringing it to an off road shop within the next few weekends to have them do it again. They aligned a friends Tundra on 37"s and it drives perfect as stock so i'm sure they can handle my truck.

My God, what a lovely home you've got there my friend.
I can't even imagine a home so beautiful.
With a nice well manicured lawn and drive way and big spacious garage, with nicely painted white window frames.
Could be hardwood flooring too, and some land for backyard as well.
God, I could hardly imagine a home so pretty here at Sunny San Diego in California.
A home like that here would cost closer to a 1mil or upwards nowadays in some nicer residential areas here in North County, or even Carlsbad.
I think I had enough TW for a day,.. I'm now sad and jealous and I'm going to go cry and sleep it off.

Definitely would love to hear how the follow up alignment goes! I don't think the guy that did mine knew what he was doing either, and then I let Toyota try and they got the tire wear better but still didn't "feel" right if that makes sense. That's my only hold up at this point. Take care and enjoy. Looks great!

Thanks, I will post a follow up. So many guys run 3" lifts without any issues that I believe a proper alignment will help. I did go 2.5" in the back also which left me with only 1" of down travel on the stock rear shocks and naturally it rides like a tank. My extended length 5100's will be here Monday so that'll be taken care of. I will eventually go with a 5100 up front and OME 888 coils set to 0 which will ride a lot nicer than stock. I'll probably replace the UCA's at that point also but to make it that much better.

I sat there for about 30 mins trying to decide which way to go, flat black paint, black plasti-dip, vinyl finally figured I will wait to see how I like it with wheels, tires, bumpers and rack. I'm not going to debadge so there are touches of chrome around the truck and the headlights but that grill was just too much.
