In Denver for a couple days, then up to Drake for a week. Anyone done the Storm Mountain trail up around Drake? Would I be able to get my (wife's) '16 stock 4Runner up and back without damage or pinstripes? I'm not in offroad mode this week, but I'm a sucker for a good vista.

Thanks. I like being in the 4R for the extra cargo space but it's tough to be out here without the truck.

Yeah. Took it in because it's leaking everywhere and the rear wheel is loose. They found $2400 worth of stuff which is probably legitimate, but I bought the bike specifically to be a beater while I'm getting back into it. Not to fix up and be brand new.

With the front brake I think part of the issue was because the forks seals were leaking. They said it had soaked the caliper.

So I came back a day early. It was freaking cold up there. Archer and I scouted the fields most of the day, nary a track to be seen. Maybe I'll head up again tomorrow.
    Last night.

This morning. It quit snowing about the time I arrived in camp

He's quieter than I am :anonymous:
Got them naturally padded feet. We did see some more deer, none bigger than the one I got so that was cool, usually it goes the other way. And another moose. Those things are everywhere.

Did any of the Yankee Hill area group get home yet? Did you guys run into the Sequoia that rolled?
