I'm researching this too. The only thing stopping me is checking the ATF after the job. You could prefill the cooler and get it close but I'm thinking there is no way around paying toyota to check the fluid level and keep the truck for 24hrs for a proper check. Give me a PM if you find anything out.

Wash and wax. Also added some side decals. I know people hate badges but I actually like them and think they break up the black on the side of my rig.

The mountain decal match the TRD stickers color on the tail.

The chrome grill is gonna go soon though for sure

 

did u have your stock wheels powder coated ? they look like the sport wheels ,nice taco btw

 

Please give a follow up when you drive with the OPT7 at night (duh!). Everyone says they are brighter that stock lights, but do they throw light further?

 

I'm really liking them. Drove around town and I don't think that they throw further?? I do like the color more and I feel they cover a wider area

I'll try to get one tomorrow but I didn't have time to snap one before @JLee took it off lol I think he was almost more excited to get it on the truck than I was

 

I originally had them as lows but as mentioned they are bright but illumination is not as far as I want them to be. move them as fogs and put HID as my lows and way much better.

 

Bought the Turtle Wax scratch repair kit tonight.. I'll be attempting to fix a decent size scratch some prick put on my truck.

 

Definitely interested how that goes. I have some pin stripes from my last camping trip.

Hey bro, did you pick up the Opt 7s here in town? Are they easy to install? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

@Sdshooter I ordered them on eBay but apparently OPT 7 is also in california so shipping only took 2 days and was less than $10 because my grand total for the pair of opt7's was $86 shipped with tax.

Install took 10 minutes, literally plug and play.
twist and take off OEM bulbs, plug and twist these on and you're set.
