its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
so quit crying about your issues then if you had problems(you say) man up and have them fixed, seems like you have gotten you truck fixed and operating good why don't you do all of us a favor and sell it and get something else since Toyota trucks are built to shit like you say and will soon develop more issues due to poor quality parts, unload the heap and get a good truck then. don't come on a Toyota truck website and expect a shoulder to cry on we love our trucks, go cry somewhere else

I can't "man up" any more than going to the dealership and dropping the truck off which is what I and several other members have done many times. I have a warranty, I'm using it. Why buy a new truck, then offload it immediately and lose thousands of dollars? I've said many, many times here that I like the Tacoma and it still is the best option in the midsize market, but it has some issues that need to be addressed. I'm giving Toyota through the warranty period to address it. I have no idea how you are interpreting what I said to mean "Toyota trucks are built to shit like you say." Expecting Toyota to sell a problem free truck (i.e. the truck they advertised) is pretty fair. I'm well aware of the fact that not every truck that comes off the line will be perfect. But if the truck is designed well and engineered well, then Toyota will be able to fix it and make it as intended under the warranty.

This is an online forum, where...you know...things are discussed? Both good and bad. None of us are looking for shoulders to cry on, we are discussing the issues with our trucks and providing information for others to make educated decisions on their purchases.

If you only want to see good things about the Tacoma and want to be naive to the fact that some aren't perfect, then why be here? If it hurts you so much to see people mention the word "issue" then just leave the thread? Man up and start a circle jerk thread? Nothing more manly than a circle jerk, am I right?

why don't you contact Toyota Corporation and tell about your litany of problems with your truck and then file a Lemon Law claim you have already had numerous problems that aren't being resolved by the Dealer and your unsatisfied with the build quality and performance of the truck, if you go thru the Lemon Law procedures you will get 100% of your money back. don't wait any longer get going on a claim before the wheels fall off

So this applies to Takata air bags as well and ALL auto manufacturers dropped the ball big time. Got it.
I'm buying bicycles from now on, they all suck big time.

I think what the cheerleaders are saying is you need to lower your expectations. (No vehicle is perfect...)

Also, learn to love the disruption to your day when you drop your truck off for multiple warranty visits before you hit 10k miles. (Not like you have anywhere else you need to be, right? Although I think that is true for some here.)

Woah... what are you trying to say Bro? Not diggin the vibe here.

Side note... been to the dealer 3 times in a year since driving off the lot..didn't like it much... seats not comfortable, service people lie and I generally don't like the smell. Some of the women that work there tho, they look good. Toyota FTMFW

Well now I have all the proof I need that you work for Toyota (or a dealership) as you come on each one of these threads to apologize for them. It can't be more obvious.

Not Toyota's fault???? They sourced the manufacturer to build and supply these parts, their engineers are supposed to review and evaluate the QA/QC reports, their engineers are supposed to audit or review the ISO audits for their suppliers.

Yes it is their fault. It is Toyota's name, badge and with that reputation that goes out on each one of the vehicles they manufacture.

Outsourced parts my ass, the last line of defense in QC quality control is the Dealer they should make sure that all fluid levels, bells and whistles are functioning properly THEY DONT so its up to YOU unfortunately to get these issues resolved thru the Dealer or Toyota Corp or Lemon Law, Toyota corp cant tittie feed everyone of their Dealers in the world its up to YOU to make them aware that Im not having it. The reason I joined TW in the first place was not to whine about my truck but to get info on issues on my truck(s) from other folks on how to fix and resolve them and I have saved a lot of time, money from their experiences having the same issues and relating them to the members, this OP and others come right on and denounce Toyota quality cause they think the Dealers are supposed to breastfeed so baby is happy now aint happenin, theres lots of 2016 owners who have small issues ironed out and love the truck.

You are referring to your own post? You are the one that came up with the example

I like how you go to extremes. I say a auto manufacturer has to stand by their product and take responsibility for their product regardless of what subcontractors they use and you take is way way far beyond that using some bizarre twisted logic (or lack of any logic). You argue like a person who can only see situations in black and white. Quite sad really.

Is taking responsibility a foreign concept to you?
