    Chris,your post actually brought a tear to my eye, I think it's time for me to get my kids a new dog as well. Back in November, we lost her to a freak accident, she stuck her head in a pvc pipe with a top on it, she sufficated to death, it happened at night, we where asleep & in the morning on a friday my son found her and he just froze, he had never seen a dead animal up close and besides it was they're first dog. Anyways your post made me think it's time to get a new one, my daughter took it very hard and I think I better check with her first. Anyways, CONGRATS on your new "best friend":) and thanks for posting and letting us know!!

    Sorry to hear of the loss. It was sure hard when we lost Molly. we knew we wanted to get another pup, and feel great to have Gabby. Though they never replace the ones lost, they do open a new chapter inviting in the happiness and love an animal gives. I cant wait to see pics of the new Dog your familly gets. :)
