    Help Please!

I'm still working on my build/order. So what I'd like to do is order my 17 TRD Sport with the TRD Matte Black rims, PTR20-35110, instead of the OEM rims that come standard on the 16/17.

What I'd like to know is the Part # for those OEM rims (TRD Sport model) and the price. Downloaded the build but it only states: 17-In Machined Alloy Wheels with P265/65R17

    The PTR20-35110 rims retail for $215.00 X 5 = $1075.00

Like to know so when I put my numbers together I can subtract the OEM price from the Black ones I want instead.

Also if anyone knows the Toyota price for the tires, I don't have the brand name that they come with so I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Love to see if I can get the dealership to switch out the grille too. Swap stock grille for the TRD Pro grille, as a dealer install.

Asked the sales girl to checkout prices for me. No idea where/how she got these numbers, but she said the parts department told her the TRD Pro Grille is $610 and the OEM TRD Sport Grille is $570. I'm assuming those numbers include the color matched shroud & Bezel on the Sport grille. My goal would be a dealer install, with only an additional $40 price difference.

Not sure they'll go for any of this, but it's worth a shot.

So if you have a part number for the stock rims, tire price, I'll have them install BFG AT K02 265/70/17 then see what the difference is between the stock tires and the BFG's that I'll sway out, another dealer install. If you know the part number for the TRD Sport grille I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks everyone, I'm sure someone here has done this or something very similar.
    Norma

Oh, forgot to mention that I really wanted to order it in the Cement exterior color, but was told that color is only allowed on the TRD Pro model. Makes no sense to me whatsoever, but my second choice is Super White. Black & White theme, I'll immediately blackout the badges and fender flares, like the ones on the OR model.

Welcome to tw. The dealer is basically gonna tell you they will do it for the full price and tell you to deal with selling the rims and grille to make up the difference. Install shouldnt be an issue haggling into the deal. But getting credit for rims and a grille that will sit on the shelf is highly unlikely. Hope it works out...

Thanks for your input. Ya, that's basically what I figured, but I'll give it a shot, and if that's the only way, well you gotta do what you gotta do to get it the way you want. I'm sure that's a Big loss on the resale, especially the stock grille, rims might sell for 75% or so, tires no idea what they cost, but people are always buying new tires. I'll have to check around eBay/craigslist...

I'll find out tomorrow, see what they say. I do love the look of that new TRD Pro Grille! The stock grille......not so much. Who knows, I might blackout the stock grille first just to see how it looks, and wait on the TRD Pro Grille. They're hard to find right now, none locally in my area.

    Again, thanks

Anyone have the PTR20-35110 Matte Black or Gunmetal Rims?

Just want to verify that these rims work on a 16/17 TRD Sport

When I look them up it shows them as TRD 4Runner rims

    Thanks

Thanks, ya I found them even cheaper, $161.25 plus .0625% sales tax (Mass) and $100 shipping. So grand total of: $785.31. Dealer told me $215 X 4 = $860. So $75 buck less than the dealer.

Now I'm pricing my tires: BFG AT T/A K02s 265/70R17. And if you want the BLACKWALL the Manufacturers Part Number is: 10892. Unless you want them with the Raised White Letters, then it's a different part #.

    Best price so far: $222.99 X 4 plus sales tax = $947.71

Dealer will let me know what they can get for, and I'll determine which way to go. Right now I'm only saving $75 on the wheels.

Looks like I'll be stuck selling the stock tires & wheels that the Sport comes with, but they will do all the install for no charge.

That's where I'm at right now. Oh, and the TRD Pro Grille, PT228-35170 they will give me at the wholesale price of $424.15. I can order from a Canadian dealer, but he has 30 or so on back order so I don't know how long before my order would be filled. But my biggest concern is the shipping, specifically Damage during shipping. His price is: $390 shipped.

Might just eat the $35 bucks and not deal with the hassle of waiting and shipping.

So far that's like a C Note loss. But the real negotiating hasn't even begun yet. I definitely expect to pay UNDER INVOICE. Only incentive I'm aware of now is $750 for military vets, which I proudly am.

Anyone who has an Access Cab (16 or 17) with the Toyota Black Cast Aluminum Running Boards, Do You Know the Part Number??? Only able to find the part number for the double cab, so I need HELP.

I'm trying to decide between those or the Toyota Predator Pro Step ones. I was able to find the part number for those (PT925-35162) so now I'll try to find the Best price OTD.

Also looking for the part number for the SPORT MODEL OEM stock wheels. Since I'll be replacing them with the Matte Black Pro Rims (PTR20-35110) I'd like to have an idea at what to price them at when I go to sell them.

Really appreciate all the help everyone here has been giving. Lots of great suggestions and ideas, so thanks, it's been a huge help.

Pretty much have all my numbers down, sales manager checked inbound and they one that has all my options except running board/step. And since that seems like a fairly easy install, I think I can get it for less and do it myself.

The MSRP is: $37,288. (Base $33,770 + $1,510 Premium & Tech (Access Cab) Pkg + Tow Pkg $650 + All-Weather Floor Limers/Door Sill Protectors $209 + Mudguards $129 + Alloy Wheel Locks $80 *those will be removed and $80 will be removed from the MSRP/already agreed upon.

    Destination Charge: $940

Total Accessories: $2,578. Minus $80 for the wheel locks

    DEALERS INVOICE: $35,439

    FINAL MSRP WILL BE: $37,208

DEALERS INVOICE INCLUDING WHEEL LOCKS: $35,439

So my last questions is: HOW MUCH BELOW DEALERS INVOICE ARE YOU PAYING FOR YOURS?

Only incentive I've seen currently is $750 for military. That brings it down to $36,458

Again, thanks to anyone who can help on the part numbers and price you paid.

It's getting exciting now that a deal will soon be made!

I hear ya, auto is like 2k more, but I'm definitely going with an auto, most of my driving will be in town and plenty of traffic.

Plus I already have a manual.

Look'n into which step to get, decisions decisions......

Best look'n ones I've seen so far are the Magnum RTS Black step only problem is I can't find them for an Access Cab.

Emailed them to see if they make one that will fit. Hopefully I'll hear some good news.

I can get the OEM Toyota Predator Step on Amazon for $540.56 delivered.

But those Magnum ones look more rugged/masculine!

Here's a couple pics of those steps.

If you have any recommendations for steps that fit on an Access Cab, love to hear about them, and a pic would be great as well.

Was thinking about the OEM Cast Aluminum Black Running Boards, but now leaning more towards the two step Predator look.

Aw, what the hell? Is this recent? I didn't see anything for vets online nor was mentioned at the dealership, but I purchased mine about a month ago. I was able to get almost 1400 off though. Not as great as others have claimed though on the board. No dealer was willing to go less for my configuration that no other dealer in the state had.

No you didn't miss out on anything. No vets, only Active Duty. So it's a no-go for me too. Woulda been nice, $750 more towards accessories!

I'm up to $2,098.50 of accessories I've ordered so far. The UPS guys will be visiting my house several times over the next week or so!!!

Only one item left on my wish list, Steps!!!

Alright, looks like I didn't miss out on anything. Are you set on steps? For the same or less price as the nicer running boards you can get a set of sliders which have the same functionality but more protection if you're going to go wheeling. I'm debating between either some mob town sliders or SOS concepts.

I'm waiting to hear back from Magnum, the pic above w/that sorta blocky chunky look. If they don't make them to fit an Access Cab I may settle for the OEM Predator steps. $540 Amazon delivered.

No plans on Off Roading. It's all about the "Looks". Hahaha.

    I'll checkout that site, thanks
