    Congrats on the move!
We live a few miles West of the base.
We tried to buy a place in Waddle, ended up a little East of there.

So made it to Payson this weekend learned a couple things...can't get into 4lo until you get into 4hi and for some reason the truck didn't want to start this morning until it warmed up...found this strange. Started right up put it into reverse and stalled it....wouldn't start back up for a few minutes. It was about 40 outside..

Also messed with the clutch cancel and from what I read it's not something I should use often..even though it seems very handy for sticky uphill terrain.

All in all a great weekend in Payson!

Looking for a spot to camp Friday-Sat, just one night so the wife can test out the RTT for the first time. I'm in the east valley, and usually camp at FR300 on the rim. Anyone know how the weather has been up there lately? Any other ideas for a quick get away spot?

Two great spots, one has a fun rough road and the other one anyone can get to but few do. Take 260 East out of Payson. Turn on the Control Road/Tonto Village, 6 miles passed the TV is FR144, take it the 2.5 miles to the end. Beautiful, private location that requires clearance to get to. Or, take the Tonto Creek Exit (one mile passes Tonto Village), go back about four miles to 289C, take it and stay left, right past the Y is a pull in on the left, or you can go further down to the loop were tons of people can camp.

Weather in that area is lows in the mid 40s and highs in the 80s.

Or are you trying to stay closer to Phoenix?

We went camping and checked out the lava tubes a couple weeks ago. Felt like just staying there the rest of the week. What part of flag are you near? Tried to find some cheap empty lots up there but nothing within budget.

Presidio! Not brand new but built in 14! It's a nice neiborhood and a great starter home.

Nice! I drive by your neighborhood (and through that pointless roundabout) on the way to work daily.
