    Hey all,

Long time lurker, been posting off and on burt I haven't yet introduced myself.

Picked up a 2000 Tacoma regular cab 4wd from my friend a little more than a year ago.

I've taken the time to go through the truck and baseline it (new fluids, lubricate everything, clean) and have been making some mods along the way.

I've been a Toyota guy since my first car ('88 Celica turbo) and am excited to get into a truck.

Alberto's is good, but Lolita's tops it. Ridiculously good, and consistent!

Yes, and several others.....I just grew up on Alberto's, lol. The one around the corner from where I used to live in O'side is now an "Eriberto's", but it is still good. The mexican food here in OK is mostly of the Tex-Mex variety (bleh). Of all the things, a decent carne asada burrito is something I miss the most about the SD area.

I am new on here, but welcome to you.

    Thanks! Welcome to you too!

I went out to OKC about seven or eight years ago. I remember we went to a Mexican food place and we asked for Avocado. People flipped out...saying that it was too expensive?

If you are down in Pt. Loma, try Hector's behind dry cleaners and next to West Marine - very good carne asada burritos!

Alberto's is gone man. Well pretty much the only ones I know of are in Escondido, Oceanside (unless that's the one you were talking about) and Temecula.
