Have any of the aftermarket grille manufactures supplied air flow testing with their grilles compared to any one of the factory installed grilles.( sr5, sport, limited, or, and Pro inserts. Some of the aftermarket grilles look very nice but look like they will block partial air flow. Has anybody running an aftermarket grille noticed an increase with engine, or trans temps.

Most of the aftermarket grilles I've seen allow more than enough air flow. Are you talking about a specific brand? My custom grille is actually open more than my OEM one.

No, not any one brand. Just looking at total space blocked or restricted. I have done research with air flow for different projects,i.e. motorcycles , drag cars. I have seen water-cooled motorcycle guys put cool looking water jet cut grilles on their bike radiators to later find the bikes having higher temps. It is not only open space but many other factors that regulate how fast and at what angle the flow might disturbed or how it may be directed. I was just throwing it out there before considering changing or building my own grille, if any of the manufactures producing after market grilles have done this type of testing with local labs in their areas. They may want to post results showing why their grilles would be better than or equal to the stock/pro grilles everyone is trying to replace. Remember HEAT KILLS.
