So there is a 4runner that looks like it ran off the side of the road down the street from me. It has been there for over a week now, think I could just go pull it out and have myself a 4runner?

 

It rains every F'ing day in Mobile. I don't understand why people live here by choice.

 

Ill trade u ha. We have had 3/10" this month the night if openin day of dove season.

 

Same reason people live in Seatle, Oregon, and London along with other places with a lot of rain.

The good news is that you will not have to live here much longer.

My advice for your next assignment is "to grow where you are planted" in other words be happy where ever you are instead of looking for reasons to find fault with where you live. Believe it or not, some people actually choose to retire and live here because they like it here. Have some retired Coastie friends who did just that after serving in many other places.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

 

That's most of the southeast. I've lived all over the country, and if I had a choice, I'd go back to southern California. Easily the best temperature, and weather nearly year around.

 

Took that a bit personal huh? You can relax I don't hate Mobile I was just having some fun being a bit cynical.

Here's some advice for you in return since you're giving it out so freely. Don't get your panties in a bunch over a few sentences from a stranger on the internet and you'll live at least 10 years longer.

 

I think it's the heat plus the rain that gets yea down here in Mobile. Good thing is it doesn't last too long when it does rain and in the spring you can set your watch by an afternoon shower.

 

Cynical? Yeah, me too. Didn't mean for you to get your panties in a wad either. Like you said, just having some fun. Not uptight, just chilling and reading TW. Hope you don't take everything personal.

 

Southern California is great with the ocean, dessert, and mountains so close. Northern Cal is good too.
