Can someone with the Pro grill take a side profile show that shows how far the grille protrudes from the surround? The stock grills are relatively flat, but it appears the Pro grilles stick out a bit.

100 bucks. Took 37 seconds. The leather boot under the shifter pulls straight down and the old shifter turns off...new one turns on and boot comes back up to connect. Easiest thing I've ever done to a truck other than pump gas

I think it looks better protruding, it seems that's how the grill should be, not recessed satoshi/raptor style

Im with you. When the Baja's first came out the parts were on lock down, VIN required to order, made them exclusive, the bead lock wheels were like gold. Then toyota realized they could capitalize on us mod hungry taco owners and when the pro's came out (new version of a baja), parts were easily ordered, no vin required. If I was a PRO owner I'd be pissed, seeing a bunch of wannabe pros running around. I also hate the sr5 owners who put TRD bedside stickers on to try to make themselves look like TRDs, but maybe I'm just a whacky purist. Im guessing once enough guys have the same pro grill, wheels, knobs, emblems, the fad will die out as most people like to be unique. End rant. Just my 2 cents though.

I don't give a crap about looking like a pro, it's just my favorite style of grill. It looks good on the old land cruiser, fj cruiser, tundra, 4runner, and the Tacoma. I'd want the "TOYOTA" grill regardless of what trim level it belongs to, I don't even have a 4wd.

I'm with you on that one, I want it because I think it's looks the best out of all the grills on the market right now.
    Some people....
