    I fear the rust removal mandated by painting might cause more damage than the paint would prevent.

    Thanks that is reassuring. I chose it over paint because it is so hard to remove ALL the rust without removing the entire bed and cab. I might send you some questions in the days to come, if that is ok.

    Okay. So those of you who have done the tundra brake swap..


    Wtf. My brakes suck ass right now. Have bleed everything four times. No air comes out. Gone through three and a half bottle of brake fluid.

    So wtf.

    This happened to me and I had to get a new master cylinder. Bubbles kept forming in the fluid if you look under the cap

    Yea brakes don't kick in until pedal is past half way. Have to floor it basicaly to get them to work.

    Send all the questions you like and I'll try to answer them my best. The stuff id pretty tough. You can smack it with a hammer and it wont chip or anything(When applied correctly).

    So wouldn't you have air in the mc if its band new? If so wouldn't you have to pressure bleed them? :notsure:

    I would think that would only effect the rear brakes, and the front brakes usually do most of the stopping

    Yes. On several trucks. It's supposed to increase fluid pressure. Which should make the pedal harder.
