Looks good. Looks smooth also. Might need to do this to mine today. Getting tired of this last bit of chrome.

Thanks man, not sure how I like it. The chrome actually doesn't look bad ok this truck. I may peel it off later.

But till I can justify $500 for a grill, this one will do.

Does look good. Once I get everything suspension wise finished I'm going to be doing some mods like this. Not going to spend that kinda money though.

Treds/ maxtrax have their place and specific role in recovery...not every situation is identical and have seen where maxtrax specifically were used over a crappy bridge and nothing around to winch to. All comes with perspective but it really comes down to what you are doing.. what terrain you are in. What season.. how many hands are able to help. Only way to find that out is learn from your mistakes.. me personally I'll always have a set on hand because I have been stuck in the middle of a field and no one around .. nothing to winch to ( a winch and burying an anchor point would have possibly worked)... Only thing that got me out was maxtrax and it saved the other two jeeps that got stuck trying to get to me. If I hadn't had that experience I'd never even think twice about them

Get a land anchor and you'll almost always have a place to winch.

Could you not have winched off one of the jeeps if you had a winch? I see what you're getting at though.

Got in to work today and it's like an ice box in my office, even with a dozen computers putting out heat. Thermostat is busted and I think the AC has been running full blast all weekend with the door closed. Brrr.

You'd love it in here right now. It's probably 50 degrees in this room. I had to borrow a heater from one of the girls down the hall. They always seem to have those things running under their desks.
