Anyone has good suggestions for a good sturdy airtight or at least tight so rain/dust doesnt get in, looking for something went to several stores and all they have is cheap plastic/rubbermaid thin wall stuff that flexes, lowes did have one thats heavy duty plastic one thats contender right now for purchase but curious if anyone has any suggestions.

I would suggest the 36" Plano boxes or the Rubbermaid action packers.

    Following.

I've tried the Rubbermaid ones and some heavier duty one from Home Depot which broke the first day.

They have some heavy duty ones. But they only come in way too small and adult coffin size.

I have been using the Rubbermaid Action Packers for some 20 years and I have yet to have one fail.

ive bought those same exact ones from that brand on 3 separate occasions a year apart each time. they change the dimensions every year, i swear just to be assholes. two types of them still stack, but one year they made them shorter and wider so they don't stack on the other versions. yet they are the same brand, same volume. im convinced they do that so people have to buy more because older ones aren't compatible.

I use action Packers, rigid boxes from home Depot and pelican style gun case for my kitchen.

See my build for some pics of them in the bed.

These can get really expensive though. I once ordered a reasonably priced Harborfreight 48" one, but it was so flimsy, it got damaged in shipping.
Would you prefer child coffin size?

Wow, didn't know that. When they came out about two years ago (when I first saw them), I bought 5 of them. Haven't needed any more since. I also have a 21 cubic feet Thule roof Cargo box. So plenty of storage.

    Thanks for the tip!
