    anyone with a 6" PRO COMP DB lift, you are supposed to flip your sway bar from the factory position, this coming from pro comp themselves :thumbsup:

    Just got an email from the shop doing the DB gut saying that they need all of these parts to reposition the diff and fix other things as a result of the parts that were taken out when the drop bracket was installed. Is this really the case because I thought everything was still there besides the cross member and stock spindles?

    The hub /bearings transfer over, what's with all the seals and stuff. The rest looks like the front diff hangers and brackets/bolts.

    Looks expensive.

    Yeah the diff stuff makes sense but I have no idea where the hub/bearing thing came from.

    They're not leaking at all. The explanation I received is that the bearings are "mono bearings that when they come off need to be replaced because they come apart." Didn't make too much sense to me considering all that needs to be done in the rear is shocks and leaf springs.

    That is correct, just leafs and shocks and the carrier bearing drop. Very easy to do the rear, the front is the bear.

    It also depends on how they did the DB aso. My whole crossmember wasnt removed, just pieces of it on my last build.

    Turns out they meant to tell me front bearings, not rear. They said that once the front bearings are "pressed out" they're done. Does that sound right?

    ok so truck wont align to factory specs with it flipped, flipped back to factory and aligns perfect..:burnrubber:

    I never noticed any sounds/vibrations so I assume they're find. They never really gave an explanation as to why they need to be removed.

    Update on the hubs: Just talked to them and they think that the bearings will go bad after they push them out of the spindles.

    They are pressed assemblies that bolt to the spindle. They will just remove the assembly and swap.

    Holy fawk...are you sure you want this shop doing your work !? They sound like complete fukwhits :/

    All of the diff brackets and bolts are correct...and make sure they are buying all of the OE diff bracket bolts too because the PC ones will not work.
