    It's hard to say how long it will last but I'd like to think it will be gone by then. Weather can change it, wind can push it out away from shore or back in. It can last days or months. Sarasota is about 50 miles south of the Tradewinds. Don't know if it will come north.

    The Tradewinds is nice, they usually have a big inflatable slide on the beach & that show "Tanked" did a huge aquarium there.
    Just south of the Tradewinds is a restaurant called spinners, it's on top of another hotel & it revolves while you eat, haven't been there in a while but it was pretty good when we went.

    We saw one of these come out of the woods while we were hunting one time. All we could see was the van body & couldn't figure out how it got down the road it was on, we didnt know it was on a 4x4 chassis. Regular lifted 4x4 trucks were having trouble getting down that road. Haha

    The trade winds place looked nice to me but it's hard to tell from websites with lying pictures. I just left it up to the kid. To be completely honest, that's how we ended up planning a trip to Iceland too lol. I asked him where he wanted to go and that's what popped out. I'm adding on the Ireland portion
