    Finally bit the bullet and ordered some color match. Gonna take my time and do the fronts first and see how well I can do, if things go well, I'll order more paint and do the rears. Rattle can FTW, but with all the correct sand and polish steps.

    Yessir. I did it on my prerunner (that was black) with rattlecan in the parking spot behind my apartment like 5 years ago, skipped a couple sanding steps and rushed the polish and it turned out pretty awesome, except I waxed it to fast and then never waxed it again so about 3 months later it had turned pretty dull. I think now, using better quality paint and doing all the proper prep and sanding and then getting a reeeaaallly good polish and then waiting for gas off before waxing, I can get it done to pretty awesome quality.

    Looks good. I'm in the same boat...I really want the Pro grill, but can't justify $400. Plus I want to swap out my chrome surround with the color matched, so that's another $200. What's the best way to get a black emblem? I saw someone was selling them on here recently for like 25 bucks. I don't care to plastidip or paint it myself.
