@cohiker how do they ride, are they loud and what is your opinion of them in an off-road environment?

I notice no difference on-road in ride. They are a little bit louder than stock, which is to be expected. Off road they've done extremely well so far, but I haven't really tested them yet. I'll be testing them thoroughly this summer though.

The truck looks a thousand times better in person after swapping. No tacoma should have highway tires IMO.

Yea mine came with these Wrangler Kevlar tires @cohiker but when I added my off road steps, they went from meh to looking tiny and out of place with my steps. lol. Thus the search for new ones, and o have always run BFG k02's...but they are so expensive. If you dont mind, what is the exact model tire you have, I want to take a look at them online.

They're Hankook Dynapro ATM 265/75/r16 load 'P'. I do most of my driving on roads so I couldn't justify the heavier load ratings. I got quite a deal on these: $415 shipped from Discount Tire Direct on ebay.

@Aussiek2000 That looks great man. So without the lift, just as it sits with those 255/80-17 cooper ST maxx, does it scrub at all currently?

Not sure if I missed it on here but is anyone running the Toyo Open country AT2's? I see a lot of the BFG KO2s on here but i was curious how the Toyos look. Please post some picks if any one is running this tire thanks!

i do when turning right and either hitting a bump or hitting brakes hard, i don't know where it's rubbing yet tho.
haven't gotten that far, i do have the spidertrax 1.25 spacers.

everything else is oem aside ftom tires (duratrac) an spacers

Do you think getting 265/70/17 will stop all the rubbing?

honestly it's only happend 2 times so far and it "sounds" like plastic hitting the aggressive tread.

i'm positive that would stop it since that the oem stock size but i like the 1" bigger tire.

ill probably sell the barely used 265/75's an do the cmc and a 2" lift front with 1.5" lift rear and get 33's

I think you are getting rubbing because of your wheel spacers on oem stock wheels. That info was on another thread.

thanks for the info, do u possibly remember if that thread mentiond where?

i'm thinking front maybe rear but definitely not the uca.

and i'd rather deal with it or cut something then go back, it looks much much better then before even on stock wheels
