Some F'n idiot was out smoking some weed/drugs and got stuck in a field and caught his truck on fire. They said someone was watching him/taking pic from the beginning and showed him running around his truck freaking out...then his truck caught on fire. I think they arrested the guy...Is the unofficial story


we dodged a bullet for sure....the wind was little to none that day. The next day we had red flag warning. It would have gone up the mountain if that wind would have got to the fire.

I'll definitely be looking for mushrooms next spring.

 

Trying to gain this guy's trust enough to get that collar off. He'll probably get killed without it though, because of the dicks around here that shoot everything that moves. I'm just afraid he's gonna choke when he goes into rut. It's already getting tight.

 

I know the feeling with neighbors wanting to shoot everything, a.k.a. - "if its brown, its down." I have a good number of bucks that would have great potential a couple years from now, BUT neighbors would shoot them all day long. I'll try to upload some pics.

 

hey, some people trophy hunt and some hunt for meat.... at least we can still hunt, many people can't...

 

I hear ya, I love the meat more than the trophy. Just wish I was able to manage my land to have both. With older mature bucks, the chase is even harder and more rewarding if you get him....just my thoughts. At the end of the day, nothing is better than freshly grilled backstraps with friends and family!

 

backstraps is the best reason to hunt....

 

I like hunting in general. I wont pass up a nice buck if I see one but a nice fat doe is plenty of meat in the freezer thats not gamie and rutted up tasting.

 

Just tried kangaroo jerky..... I would not hunt kangaroo..... shit was nasty.

why the barbed wire and fencing around the feeders?

 

We used to have cattle in the area.not anymore..just never took it down.we have panels at the bottom of one of the feeder due to hogs...we have quite a few and they tend to stay under the feeder way too much.

 

assault the hogs with an AR for BBQ?

 

Lol yea that's the plan.actually I just finishing building this....
But work and school have had my balls in a vice so I havent had time to make my first kill with it.....and I've been having some good groups coming the the feeders

I'm sick of school too! I feel the pain. I've been dove hunting twice and that's it

 

I saw 18 deer in the fields close to my house...2 nice bucks...but of course it was after shooting/hunting hours of daylight.
