    Has anyone tried these yet?

    THese tires will be compared to the same size (285/60/18) Nitto Terra Grappleers, with the same 3086# load rating.
    So far, The Terra Grapplers new had 12/32 of tread. I measured the Cooper tires to have 14/32's of tread. The Coopers are about 3/10ths taller, but about 1/10" narrower.
    I didnt weigh the Nittos, but the Cooper Zeons weigh 50# each.
    They will be mounted on Saturday, so more to come.

    those are great tires chris, two guys i work with them have them, granted they are on their ford 150's but they've both had them over a year and they still look new, and they drive the crap out of them. they say they handle great on the road, wet pavement, snow, and pretty decent in the mud. i would have got them if they made a 255/85. i think you'll be very happy with them.

    I dont have them yet. Im considering seeing how they compare to the Nitto's I have been running for some time. Thanks for the input! I think I will get them, and see. :)

    yah there are a couple of us that have them. i only have put about 1k on mine but i am liking them a lot. great on the dry and wet pavement. they also do very well in the snow. i haven't had a chance to take the to the dirt yet so i can't say how they perform in that area.

    I think I will give them a try. Do they have the wheel protector? The wheel is recessed into the tire a little bit?

    you know, i swear i read that they did, but mine sure dont. not sure if its on the larger rim sizes only or what. they come mostly in sizes 18" and i up i believe so maybe they put the rim protector on those which might be more susceptible to being curbed at the mall:D. i remember what my bfg a/t's rim protector looked like and my tires are lacking that.
