I fell in love with the TRD PRO wheels from the 4Runner.

Here's my fuel economy numbers, I live round Calgary so it's mostly city. My best ever was on a drive out to Vancouver on the highway though.

Had a chance to drive my friend's 2017 TRD Pro this weekend. The truck looks amazing in person and rides better than my OR tundra. He got the cement color.

Re: Clagary -> Vancouver. That's because for the most part you are going downhill the whole time by about a vertical kilometer

I'm surprised that Cochrane Toyota didn't throw tires, rims, and a rack on it and try to sell it to you for $90K :D.

    Congrats.

I find the rims specifically far less objectionable in person than in pictures. The matte black TRDs are still nicer but I don't dislike the gloss finish on these ones anymore. Not sure why but they're better looking IMO than the Tundra's TRD Pro rims also. Maybe just because there's less rim width.

The Pro has that great curb appeal look that Toyota hasn't really had on the Tacoma line in Canada.

Think I saw this one on the road the other day already loaded up with bike racks and bars on the back. Looked super fresh, the colour looked fantastic in the sun.

I want that grille! A true Toyota truck should say Toyota on the front!

FYI for anybody that might care (likely not many), despite the Canadian brochure saying "Blind Spot Monitor (ATM only)" under the Double Cab TRD PRO Package, my MT has BSM.

Edit: I believe this also means it has the rear cross traffic alert function which is enabled when BSM is and uses the same sensors.
