Anybody have any experience with these. They are running a 15% off sale on 2016 products. I'm in Birmingham and can get them shipped to my door, powder coated for $815. Pics would be great if you have them on your 2016.

Starting to look for sliders myself....would love to see what peoples opinions are of the CBI sliders if they have them on their 3rd gen?

I was able to search and find a few photos of them installed on their trucks in driveways, but would especially like to hear from people who already used them out on the trail and how they performed out there.

Thanks in advance for any first hand accounts given

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I'm interested in some sliders as well. Are these bolt-on or weld, and what is the wait time?

Cbi has a pretty good general reputation from what I have read.

Happy with my CBI bolt on sliders, have them on both the 04 and 16.

Not used for rock crawling, more for protection on fire roads and climbing up to get things off the roofrack.

    Plenty sturdy for my needs.

Thanks for your feedback and photos.

On the 2016....they look nice and tucked into the vehicle. Is that the standard angle they come build with?

Also how easy was installation? All bolt holes line up? No grinding needed?

    Thanks

Holes lined up but the supplied bolts were too thick so the frame holes needed to be reamed to get the bolts through on the 16. Angle is standard, doesn't stick out too far, just to the width of the tires but far enough to be used as a step.

Had to Dremel a black plastic connector cover on the passenger side for one brace to fit but nothing metal to metal.

I wasn't interested in kickouts but they'll build you a set with them. No problems supporting the weight of the truck with a hi lift. Like I said I don't rock crawl but they do protect the the door sills offroad on tight trails, give excellent lift points to raise the truck up or steady it with the jacks if you decide to sleep in the bed.

Also doesn't restrict the ground clearance of the truck.20160226_135607.jpg

You're welcome. I've had them on the 04 for about 9 years now and loved them, only made sense to put the same on the 16.

CBI might not be the most popular or vocal choice on TW but I've been a very satisfied customer, enough to repeat.
