You'll miss the resale value as you pointed out. My dealer told me Pro's are in the 80% range for resale. I wouldn't buy a pre-runner 4x2 because then your resale value drops significantly. Despite your location, someone is going to want a 4x4 over a 4x2 in most cases.

Definitely send a pic when you're done. I like my Predator step tubes, but those sliders are growing on me.

They're aluminum so they're only a few pounds heavier

Just put another 300 miles on today putting my over 2600 miles total, all I can say is I'm LOVING my PRO. I will share that at around 1500 miles I started to hear a faint noise coming from the rear whenever I let off the accelerator when going over any speed +50mph, its is so faint that its not even a bother to me as I almost always have music blaring or on a phone call. If this is the so-called "howl" and it doesn't get any louder than I'll enjoy my truck as-is for now. Assuming Toyo will have a fix eventually (or not I dont care currently) and as long as I don't see any mechanical disadvantages due to it I'm ok with what I'm experiencing at the moment. Additionally I took 3 buddies hiking/camping last weekend and we had a total of 3hrs in the Taco round trip, a number of times I asked if anyone heard anything weird and none of them even noticed soooooooo I almost wonder if I never read there was a "howl" if I would even notice it. Still pondering that one.

Just an update.... Went and looked at the truck today with the 285's and there's tons of room. I haven't been able to crank the wheel bc it was in the shop, but if it does need to be cut it would only be very minor and plastic at that

Nope, but I'm sure if you went to Cbi's homepage it would be there or you could call them. Just estimating since I did hold them today I'd guess between 55-75lbs

Holy crap that's ridiculous. If I could pay that much i'd literally just buy a Raptor.
