Should be good! With the rut coming on as late as it is you should have a lot of action up that way. Good luck!

Thanks! It's my first time and I think my friends know what they're doing but we'll see. We found a sweet camp area about 7500' that is just up from a valley and has several creek/drainages with south facing slopes within a mile of the camp area, halfway decent 4x4 access and even a hiking trail. I figure hike up slope to hunt so I get to haul the animal down hill back to camp, but that's if I get lucky.

Oh does anyone have a chest freezer in the Springs or Pueblo area? I'm not going to buy a medium-sized chest freezer unless I fill the tag and might need a place to store the meat for 4-5 days while the freezer is delivered.

Anybody know what I can use to shine up my icons? The mag chloride last winter made them kinda dull

I was thinking about some sort of aluminum cleaner. I don't know how well that would work without polishing though and I feel like polishing those things would be a PITA

Check out white diamond. I used to sell it at advance auto. It's ~15 a bottle but is amazing. I used to show people on the shelves that were steel and had many years of tarnish. And it would have them shinning in no time

Just got off the phone with icon and the guy said that the bodies are steel with a cadmium coating and pretty much the only thing he would recommend is auto body polish. He said that if I use anything more aggressive it could damage the cadmium and make the tarnishing worse. He also said not to expect it to improve much... Kind of a bummer

Not to continue all the soap box lawyering in here, I'm in @Gramps camp. If you get a ticket that says pay or go to court and you do neither, a bench warrant will be issued and the next time you come in contact with LEO you WILL GO TO JAIL, do not pass go, etc.

Also if traveling in Europe, 99% of their traffic tickets are automated and they don't allow the silliness that we do. Either pay or show up with who was driving your car or you will not like the outcome. If you think the fines here are steep you ain't seen nothing to what they have.

My ac just quit a few days ago. Some kind of greenish slime dripping off the front of heat exchanger. Really could have used it today.

Might be easier to get it done now though before the spring rush. Plus it's still hot out. .
