Last time it was a pretty big turn out as well, but scattered all OVER God's creation, LMAO!!! It made hooking up with the other group and/or groups VERY difficult!!! I don't think we really "hooked-up" as we more or less, passed by each other here and there, LMAO!!!

@CaliRaisedLed Jake As a matter of fact, I believe some of these people are actually going to be "camping" in Ocotillo near Superstition??? Me, personally, I will be on the "Anza Borrego" side, LOL!!! I would just LOVE to do a night run out to the Pumpkin Patch from Holmes Camp Ground. That was a pretty sick run!!! :mudding: NOT hard at all, but just an awesome run in my book!!!

Funny you mention google maps. I've been geeking out a lot on California Trail Map lately. It uses up to date trail regs that's defined by the managing agencies. Others such as google can often provide misleading information because they don't account for all implemented regulations. Check it out if you'd like. It's pretty awesome. Took a about 2 hours to download everything to my ipad and can be used offline. Compatible with android, iphone, garmin, mac, lowrance and windows.

Btw, can we go on a freq of: (choose one)
    ch8 467.5625
    ch9 467.5875
    ch10 467.6125
    ch11 467.6375
    ch12 467.6625
    ch13 467.6875
    ch14 467.7125

These freq will also work with the 2-band Baofengs that just about 99.99999999999999999999% of you guys carry. Those frequencies are the ones that those "blister pack" type GMRS/FRS radios use!!! Those are the channel assignment numbers for those radios and the freq are the same no matter WHAT radio it is!!! The GMRS/FRS radio could be a Motorola, Midland, COBRA, etc as it doesn't matter!!! The channel assignments along with their associated frequencies are the same!!! see the pic for an example of what radio I am talking about. It just opens more options all around!!!
