All I got to say is, I hope you don't regret any of this later. Like this guy in my city. He put money without counting into his new Taco like you are doing too. He put $30 grand worth of mods on his 40k truck. He had it listed on craigslist few months back for $63,000. No takers. He slashed down to $57,000 now. Still no one wants to buy it. I see his price going down every few weeks or so. I think he found out that for the money he put into the taco, he could have bought a '17 Ford Raptor fully paid for with far more hp and use-able torque and off road capability and other features you just simply can't add. He's here on this forum somewhere kicking himself. I don't hear a peep from him these days.

Supply and demand.....I agree, it's crazy, but it always seems like a regional thing. West coast, etc...

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping

I'm sure I won't and I don't plan on selling it. Toyota is a far better product than Ford. I have my Tacoma and a Roush Mustang. I was replacing O2 censors at 70k miles, never in my 07 Tacoma that had 140k. The Raptor is cool and all, I'd take one if someone gave me one, but if sell it to do a Tacoma build.

Plus my fiancé has a 14 FJ and a 82 FJ 40, I'm sure we'd break up if I bought a raptor lol

I don't know. They say really good things about the new Ford Ecoboost engine and 10 speed transmission. There's a video of torture test they did on it which I saw was quite an interesting watch indeed.

hell you could buy 2 pro's for the OTD price of a loaded Raptor. And with a biggie sized rig they just don't work that well on majority of the narrow trails in the NW loaded with thick brush. Not to mention doesn't fit in most garages

My wife's 2016 Explorer Sport has some great giddy-up with the Eco-Boost engine. It has much more punch than the new 3.5L engine in my 2017 Taco.

Ecoboost F150 are crazy powerful for the size-- but Id be very hesitant to call them reliable long term based on past experiences with ford and turbo engines in general. Fleet vehicle though, Id drive the snot out of it (and do).

How was the tire clearance with those 285's? any rubbing with the PRO 1" lift?

Whoa! Never pay over MSRP for a vehicle. Might as well drive down the road and toss that money out the window. When it comes to sell that vehicle, no one will care that you paid over MSRP.

I bought mine from Oroville Toyota, CA. Was able to get the truck for $800 over invoice, which is more than I've ever paid over invoice for a vehicle. But these 3rd gens are hot cakes. Guess they're worth what someone is willing to pay.

I've only visually seen it and it looks like there's plenty of room. That being said its still on the lift... Gonna wait till its on the ground before I say for sure. I'll know by Friday

DCH in Torrance is insane. I bought my 2008 TRD OR from them with 30,000 miles. At first, they wanted 34K for the damn thing, which was basically it's MSRP new. I got them down to 26K and then asked them to take it to an independent mechanic for inspection as I was buying via the internet from 600 miles away. They took it to the mechanic and sent me the report from them, I looked up the shop's name and it turns out they were owned by DCH. So, I then picked out my own shop and told them to take it there and they asked me for $500 for a "transit fee." The shop was 10 minutes from their lot.

Finally, I got the report from the mechanic and he said the truck was all good. I received the truck and immediately noticed paint repairs on the side panels that were not reported to me by the mechanic. I got the mechanic to admit to me, in writing, that DCH compensated him to not tell me about those repairs.

Then, after a few months of back and forth with my legal team, I got DCH to write me a check for $3000 to make up for the damage.

They STILL to this day email me and call me two or three times a week with new offers and deals... even though I Have asked them over and over again to remove me from their lists.

All this said... I still have that 2008 truck and it is the best vehicle I have ever owned.

There was a pro tundra on the lot at my local dealer Saturday while I was buying my truck. It was 5k over MSRP
I asked my salesman if they were serious and he said they were getting that All day. The lowest they went on a Tacoma was 2500 over.
I went back in there on Monday and the tundra had sold.

Finally got the call that my Cement M/T has been allocated. Cant wait for it to get here. Thought it would take longer than a day to sell my 2004 Cummins Ram so I am relegated to driving my daughters 05 Beetle for the time being....ugh. Paying $1000 over invoice for the Pro so worth it for a while. Anyone happen to have a Soft Topper on a Cement Pro yet? Picture?

How long it take you for allocation. I have 2 deposits down at 2 dealers for 3 weeks now and no allocation for either.

My understanding is that Toyota only picks up orders once a month. In GST is the 20th of the month (at least that's when my dealers orders are)

dont know if that's the same everywhere. May want to ask your dealers

Took over 2 months for mine to be allocated for dec delivery
