Is emailed the OPT 7 people and they tell me that I need a relay to install the low beam and fog lights. Is this correct.? I have see no mention of a relay in any of the posts. If I need relays, where do I get them? Also, these lights are not legal?

No. The TruXport does not have that slick system. To take the rolled up cover off the TruXport version like mine you would have to loosen up the clamps on the side rails just a hair or two so the header rail piece attached to the rolled up cover could be slid out of the side rails and removed. You would then have to tighten back up the clamps on the side rails and leave them in its place. You could easily do this but its not too practical if you are going to be doing it often....or at least I wouldn't want to. Every once in a while though would not be bad. Would probably take about 5 mins to loosen the clamps on the side rails, remove the TruXport header rail and tighten the clamps back up to drive around. Then when you want it back on would take about 10 mins or so to loosen the clamps on the side rails, slide the TruXport header rail with cover back in the grooves of the side rails, line everything up to your satisfaction (or OCD satisfaction in my case) and then tighten every thing back down.

If you want to be able to fully remove the rolled up cover, I would say spend the extra $200 and get the Lo pro QT it would be worth it for that if you need that feature. The TruXport version I have is really not designed to remove the rolled up cover completely.

Yeah I have had the Lo Pro QT on my truck about 3 weeks now. If I would of known there are gaps on all 4 corners of the cover I would of not of bought it. I have a bed mat and the top of it stays dry. On gusty windy days you don't feel the wind gust catching your truck bed and jerking you around on the highway. I like that..

I did a search on google, I didn't see the picture. Just reading the description of the picture was difficult enough. People can be so sick!

    Thank you for the warning.

Well glad to hear you are happy with it. Like I said earlier when I pressure washed the TruXport cover I have just the smallest amount of water came in at the tailgate, and a small trickle at one corner at the front, but with the amount of water I shot at that cover and with the jet setting I had it on I was really impressed with its ability to keep out water at the price point I paid. I would have loved to get the Lo Pro QT for its additional features, but in all honesty I didn't have the extra $200 to get it. But I am very happy with what I have.

That slim rubber seal that goes under the side rails was a pickle to get it to stay put when I was ready to tighten everything down. I ran a small flat head screwdriver along the rail to get it on the bed rail and the whole time I was hoping I would not rip it. Wonder how many people put those rails on and never bothered to put the side rail seal where it belongs before tightening everything down?

So you had to install the side rail seal on the Lo Pro QT yourself before you position and tighten down the side rails? That sounds like a pain. I was lucky on my TruXport cover they were already installed so they just come on and off as you take the side rails on and off.

I know what you are saying. I wanted the Undercover SE but needed the extra $400 for other things. Priorities brother!

Not true. Higher octane means higher flashpoint. This means it ignites later. That's why pre-ignition is a problem in engines that are meant to run higher octane but people use low octane in them. Not wanting to start an argument. Just thought I'd let you know.
I do agree that for the most part anything higher than 87 on a production vehicle is a waste for the most part. That's just not the reason.

No it is mounted on the underside of the rail but it needs help to get it in the right place or you just squeeze it up against the the side of the bed rail.
