Woulda been nice to have nice huge crazy front bumper to leave imprint on side of the dumbass Mustang with in your video above.

I refuse to ride bikes in road with all the dumb cunts (male or female) on cell phones and such. Bought a gravel grinder so sidewalks/greenbelts/dirt/lite singletrack/doubletrack/grass are all my domain. Fuck sharing the road with cars! Plenty of fat tire bikes for offroad and such but this one is really fun to jam from house on and save the knobbies for trails.

We have the option of taking the lane here, and they're putting up signage here (fucking finally)

I've found sharing the road (i.e. getting as close to the curbs) leads to horrible results. Taking the lane is much safer. I'll have to see if I have any close calls recorded on my gopro. Probably, but I'd have to dig through 2 years of footage to find it.

I just tend to remove stupid from all equations possible. I do all my own looking and will not place my life in the hands of people in cars while riding a bike. People pets and kids get a 30 ft wide berth blast around them thru the grass too. I speed up to go around. People don't know left from right, are just retarded beligerant or deaf from one thing or another so I just sail on past at a safe distance and continue on my way.

yup spot on. I only have a 6 mile ride to work and I don't do it because people scare me with their driving even when im in the truck, much less on a bike in the early morning while theyre getting their FB fix on their way to work. I tried once and never again. not until sidewalks are put in all the way there.

I have only 4 miles. I only worry about 1 road stretch just under a mile.

But yeah, it's all a gamble.

yea theres only one section on my ride that doesn't have sidewalks. im also on a skinny, two lane road that the state has let the brush on the side of the road encroach on it. theres literally no shoulder at all. youre lucky to see the white line along most of it.

When texting became a thing I got rid of all my two wheeled gizmos. Was sad but I'm sure you guys have been following someone who weaves into the gravel on the side of the road every 500 yards. F that.

On the topic of dashcam mine was unplugged when a Mtn lion ran in front of my truck a month ago. FML. The human stupidity in this tale is my own for thinking I wouldn't need it off road.

Dashcams make a great cam for offroading. I use it all the time. Frees up my gopro to place on other areas around the truck.

I just wasn't thinking. I figured was for accidents and getting lucky seeing another human do something nutty.

The cyclist here lobby like mad at City hall.
Enough to the point on of the major streets in the downtown core was just converted to a single lane each way to allow putting in bike lanes. Which is fuckin stupid. We have winter for about 4 months a year where very few continue to ride.

With that video up since the video post my license on it its only a matter of time before some cunt cyclist reports it as me driving dangerously because I almost hit a cyclist since he jumped in front of me.

I know people that were charged for a cyclist riding into the back of their car while they are stopped waiting to turn.
    This city is fucking pathetic.

On the video. In 45 min I had 15 comments from idiotic cyclist saying stupid shit like 'its drivers like you that shouldn't have a licesne' or 'drivers like you that kill cyclist'

Like no its drivers like me that you fucks should be happy are on our roads. Most drivers in this city are idiots and never pay attention. That guy would've been hit easily if it was the majority of drivers in this city.

They probably also think it's cool to cruise past red lights, go from street to side walk to street again, or even ride against traffic.

I've had cyclist run stop signs and when I honk at them they stop and say 'if you hit me I'll sue." Like ok go ahead? you're suing my insurance and you'll still be in a wheelchair you dumb cunt.
I wish that was the case here.
They ride along like they are the only ones on the road. I see a bunch of them riding while trying to text or on the phone and weaving in and out of the bike lanes. If you hit them you're at fault.

I'm not kidding I've seen them ride into cars that are stopped on the side of the road, not even on major streets just side streets where you can legally park on them. When they do if the car is running I've seen drivers charged. How the fuck can you charge a stationary vehicle when someone hit it?

Thats like me crashing into a parked car and then being ruled as not at fault.
This city is fuckin ridiculous, its absolutely disgusting.

    yep
A co worker of mine was actually being charged but it ended up going to trial and he got off. Cyclist came flying out of a laneway right into traffic and got hit (i was in the passenger seat of the work truck).
Cyclist tried to press charges saying we hit him on the road, lucky our work trucks have dash cams and we had video proof he came out of nowhere.
