hey everyone, since this is the forum that i have been on the most since i found TW, i thought i would introduce myself to all the regular attenders of the suspension forum.

live in so cal. in the 909, but i am not a "bro". (but love the bro jokes) work for Southern california Edison as a lineman, (climb power poles and work on high voltage) and currently have a 99 tacoma x-cab, and am in the process of planing my lift. not for my current truck but for my future truck that i will be getting once i get my tax return.

i will be buying a 2010 DC PR in mag grey. the setup that i am planning on right now for suspention is as follows

fox 2.5 CO w/ ER, adj to 1"
    TC A-arms
    Camburg Spindle
    Rear AAL
    fox 2.5 w/ ER
XD 18" wheels (dont know which ones yet)
285/65-18 toyo Open countries (still decideing on tires too)

the a arms and shocks i will be buying from sonny at DSM. the spindles and aal from another place. and i will do all the install myself.

i have been lurking on TW for a while, just reading and learning from all of you. i have been a part of many other online forums, for anything from VW's, Glocks, Nissans, etc..... but TW has been the best so far. TONS of info and everyone here seems like really cool people and treat everyone else w respect. yeah, there is the occasional flameing, but it is all in good fun. looking foreward to getting my truck and possibly meeting you all and helping out however i can.

so, what do you think of the setup? good, bad, changes?

all opinions are appreciated and will be considered.

You will love the spindles, I got the camburgs and love them. Your setup sounds sick and look forward to seeing the build and progress of your truck.

For offroading I would go with 16's or 17's but not sure what your plans for the truck are. I'm sure they will look good, but just not for me.

Considering I'm fairly new to TW myself- correct me if I'm wrong, but If your getting a 2010 prerunner, instead of paying for the rear AAL, can't you request the Rear Leaf TSB ?(a week or so after you drive off the lot). Many dealerships are performing this on 2010's prerunners. Save some dollars?
Toyota of Riverside tsb'd my 09 prerunner less than a month after I purchased the truck- they gave me zero grief.

That's what I was gonna try. Buy it and then hit em up for the tsb. But if they don't then it will be a AAL. And correct me f I am wrong, but with the tsb or AAL I will need 12" fox's? For longer rear travel. And as far a the wheel size, it will be 75% on road an about 25% off. Mild off roading. More like desert and wide open dirt roads, not trails. Still think I should go w 17"?

18's will be fine. Im running them and have had zero issues. However i do think that tires will be a little cheaper if you go with smaller rims.
