A whoopie sling, straps and a marlin spike... Ahhh- good times, good times... :)

I think the last time I rigged a hammock it was 13 or more years ago and I used a strap that had two steel rings (around the tree) and then I just tied off a triple wrap taut-line hitch to the rings. I could set the hammock vertical or banana that way- just slide the hitch up or down.

    Of course I didn't know what I was doing, but I didn't fall. :)

anyone on here ever use a swag?
I've been thinking of getting one.
    Specifically this one.
    Double option.

I think it would be great for touring.

I've done both for years and I must say, being able to go to the cooler for a variety of sexy IPAs while grilling a ribeye is much better than taking pulls of bourbon and eating ramen.

It's not to bad it now sits over the bed of the truck on a bed rack I got one of the biggest tents to fit me the wife and two kids and two 90lb pups the tent empty comes in around 160lbs I imagine a normal size one wouldn't be more then 120lbs it's not the weight it's just awkward I usually leave it on all summer since we camp literally almost every weekend
