Pandora not working through entune since update?

I called Toyota again and they said that if none of the troubleshooting tips they gave me worked, to be patient and wait for the next update to come out. The rep said they are very aware of this problem and are working on a solution.

 

Why does it seem that Toyota doesn't QC or test anything before putting it out there for the 3rd gens...

Our trucks are plagued with small issues like this

 

I could get mine to work again by disconnecting entune, logging out of it (via settings), then logging back in with email and password, then connecting entune again. That only works for a little while though, I just went back to Pandora via bluetooth. You can skip songs with the head unit while using bluetooth anyway, you just can't up or down vote so meh...


FTR I have an S7 Edge and am on VZ.

After complaining on the Play Store a few days ago about this issue, I got this response below this afternoon.

i uninstalled and re-intalled entune got it to work once then dead again after update. never had an issue with it before and i had the truck since october 2016.

So iPhone 7 here and it's working okay. Crapped out after going through a cell reception black hole on the way home today, but killing/restarting the entune app on my phone restored functionality. I really think it's an issue on the app end.

 

Works after disconnecting, connecting multiple times. Sometimes I would have to start pandora on my phone first to get it going. So annoying.

From the comments in the App Store, this is bigger than the Tacomas. I'm guessing this is wide spread through a lot of Toyota Entune users.

 

Rec'd a message back from my review.

"You broke Pandora. Post update, to connect to Pandora, you must disconnect entune, change sound quality within the Pandora folder of Entune (up or down) reconnect Entune. What the hell, Toyota? Do you test this stuff before publishing?

My only question is what will they break when they fix the pandora issue?

I'll have to seek out the update. Mine didn't work this morning and I didn't see an update notice.

 

this worked across my 4runner and the wife's Tacoma.

been working since the update screwed up Pandora.

 

I didn't have an update available on the truck, but an entune app update is available on Google Play.

 

Just updated the entune app on my phone. See what happens when I get out of work.

Confirmed. The app update thru your phone fixed the issue.

 

Not seeing an app update on iOS at the moment.

 

It was an entune update not iOS
