Does anyone know what fuse powers the interior lights? My LED 's went out , so I replaced them and still wont come on. I think I need to check the fuse. I checked the owners manual but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

If they were working and went out this will not be the issue. If they never worked then try this

Pretty sure the "DOME" fuse is under the hood rather than in the cabin. I think that's the one the dome/map lights are on.

Dash lights are on the "TAIL" circuit on the inside of the cab, and the instrument cluster is on the "GAUGE" fuse inside the cab.

definitely check polarity first, or even check the volts at the sockets with a multimeter if you really want to be sure.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
Well.... since no one else is going to... i'll ask the obvious. Did you verify that the switch on the overhead console is not in the 'OFF' position?

So did you find out what was wrong? I was installing leds also in my interior and as soon as I took off the reading lamps I think I blew a fuse.

If you're blowing fuses, you have a short circuit. Figure that out before you kill any more fuses.

BTW, on fuse capacity -- Going up one step when you know you've increased a circuit's load is usually safe, but I'd never replace a 7.5 with a 15; that's enough that I'd be worrying about wire capacity. Having a wire harness catch fire is not fun. Been there done that.

I have a 30 on there now. But only the vanity and some lights are working. I think I have a short circuit where my reading lights are. How do you fix short circuits?

Find where the power is somehow leaking/contacting to ground and then remedy whatever caused it.

Usually this involved manually tracing the wires once you've eliminated anything you might have caused when you got into the panels.

Yes, short circuits suck to diagnose and fix.
