There is now 2 TSB's out for the 6 speed automatic transmission One is for checking the fluid level for correct amount and the second for erratic shifting between gears.Took my truck to dealer yesterday, and they preformed both services.First one they manually check the fluid level. The second TSB involves hooking up a computer, and doing a software update to the transmission. Both procedures take about 4 hours.Truck drives much better now. The delay when shifting between reverse and park is gone, and the erratic shifting between gear is gone.I highly recommend having the service done.

Do you have the number for the fluid level TSB?

So the only new TSB is checking the fluid, right?

Don't have the TSB # The service writer at the dealership advised me of the 2 TSB's when I told him the problems I was experiencing with the truck

One is for check fluid level. The second is to update the software on the transmission to make it shift better.

That one we have. T-SB-0077-16 Shift Feeling Enhancements

If there is one for a fluid level, it should be a similar format. T-SB-****

Would anyone with a TechStream account have access to the new TSB (for the fluid level)? Not sure if that's something you get access to with an account.

I didn't even know about the fluid level thing when I went in for the transmission shifting issue and ultimately to have my transfer case replaced. The tech adviser just offered up the info, turns out it was indeed .3 quarts low but he said that they had reports of them being up to a quart low coming out of some factories. This stuff was fixed about a month ago so it was pre fluid level TSB I think so I don't have the number.

I just took my truck in yesterday for the 10k service and they didn't tell me anything.

Even when I scheduled the appointment online it asks for vehicle vin to see if there are any recalls/TSB and nothing came up.

They will only tell you about recalls. TSB's are for customer complaints.
