5100s in the back and nitrochargers up front. No shackle flip.

Yeah, the extenders are a nice addition on the cheap for dakars.

The proper way is to get longer shocks :stirthepot:

Right now those are just acting as spacers and trading uptravel for down.

    enough to have fun

Is it ok for the bump to hit the centerpin?? I have the Relentless U bolt flip kit, and Dakars, and my center pin comes up through pretty high. I was worried about "bumping" it

You still get all the up travel out of the shock just in a lower orientation but I agree that proper shock size is a better approach. I only had the billies for about 6 months prior to upgrading my front suspension so I didn't want to toss them just yet. Well, and here I am years later :D
I don't think it would jack up the rubber but maybe I'm not understanding the question :notsure:

I should have stated if the pack flattens at the same point that the shock would top out with the adjuster then the uptravel would be kept. But it's not the same ratio as bolting it in without the spacer. Which in your situation would lose droop and gain shock uptravel more than the pack is capable of.

Get those things swapped out! I really enjoy my ads shocks

How much were they? I think I can repurpose my 5100s on the 85.

hoping/planning to do it all at once.

I was surprised...you have the same suspension more or less as me. I feel like the 886 coils aren't cut for doing the job anymore since I added the bumper (I also full belly skids, sliders, etc)
