I must say this: Please listen to and think critically about the message that the protesters are trying to convey and the reasons that they are protesting instead of immediately dismissing them with corrosive language. That is the point of any protest, to bring awareness to an issue that a group of people are facing that has not been solved by any other method. When more and more people start listening to, acknowledging, and discussing these issues, then we can finally start to solve them.

I for one want a world with peace, respect, and equality. I'm open to discussion about current political/controversial events but given the TW Code of Conduct, this is probably not the venue. Feel free to pm but that's all I'm going to say about that publicly.

How about they protest at the courthouse downtown or at the courthouse in El Cajon or literally anywhere else that's not going to impede those of us that just need to get to work, get home to our children, carry on with our responsibilities that allow us to pay our bills and barely keep our heads above water. Not all of us have the luxury of being able to just stand in the middle of street in the middle of the day in the middle of the week without repercussions. #iworkforaliving #notaleech #whyamihashtagging

Whether I believe in their cause or want to help, I can't be associated with their group due to their behavior.

I live in the area. This is a high population density part of San Diego county but I feel safe overall.

That's exactly one of the arguments for protests, I think, regardless of the cause. It disrupts everyone's normal life to try to bring about a change. When people that aren't part of the protest get held up because of them, it follows up the chain to cause economic and societal impacts until the protests stop. In your examples, that means that your boss is losing out on the efficiency of you being there on time, impacting the business, which impacts so many more people than just you, the one person that was held up. That inefficiency places a pressure on policy makers to come to a solution for the protesters quickly. It also means that those that can't protest because they're trying to keep their heads above water will still end up spreading the message. If they just protest outside a courthouse, then it's only that one small area that's affected. If they stop a major intersection, though... it escalates exponentially to impact hundreds, if not thousands of other businesses.

Ideally it doesn't have to get to that point, but when the cause of the protest is nation-wide, life-threatening, and the protesters aren't seeing a change, then they'll escalate. And that has been successful throughout history.

I'm not saying that the protesters are always right, but they do force a conversation that might otherwise not be held, which I think is a good thing regardless of the cause. And obviously it's often way more complicated than this, too, which makes it so much more difficult to discuss and so much more controversial.

Depends on what we want to tackle. Replace tail lights, Battery relocation, welding mounts for tow bar.

Or maybe just install the tail light and wheel it all weekend.

We can now hit true trails without @JoBroTACO holding us back

All of those could be done in a day if you have all the stuff on hand.

He could never keep up anyways, I'm grabbing 3rd and he's trying to see thru the dust cloud :stirthepot:
