Has anyone taken the time to email or call frontrunner and ask them what the timetable for the 2016+ rack is? Just curious. Was thinking about asking them. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask

Set up my appointment for install at FR today! Stoked to head there when I'm back in town...hope I don't but anything else while there haha

 

This is what I should have done.

I got the rack installed but it was a real pain.
Modifying the ditch guards and wasn't so bad until you need to make a five 22mm holes in them to pass the standoffs thru. My holes came out looking horrible because I had to drill them since I don't have a punch tool.
Next was cleaning off all the sticky residue from the tape that covered the mounting holes. Had to use a heat gun and lots of rubbing to get that all cleaned up.
Last part I need to deal with is the shark antenna. The rack is hitting it and if I tighten down the rack its going to push the roof in where the antenna is.

 

Yikes! Yeah, I figured the drive isn't that far. Whatever I saved in cost, will go to install, which I was planning on doing anyway so I'm still saving money. And I'll have the assurance I didn't mess anything up and the people who know how to put it in properly will.

 

I emailed front runner and this is what Bryan from Front Runner told me:

They have an air freight on its way. Should be any day this week hopefully. Maybe beginning of next.
Unfortunately, we lose track of the shipment until it lands in the US.

I also noted that you didn't add me to the rack list on page one. I'm not sure how you're calculating rack orders but want to make sure it goes towards the overall number of racks. thanks again for putting this GB on.
